Choi Young-cheol (1956- ) is a South Korean poet. He made his literary debut in 1986 by winning the Hankook Ilbo New Writer’s Contest. His poetry deals with beings and objects that have survived daily life and conveys their will to live.

최영철(1956~)은 한국의 시인이다. 1986년 <한국일보>신춘문예에 당선되며 작품활동을 시작했다. 작가는 일상에서 살아남은 존재와 사물들에 주목하여 그것들의 생명의 의지를 시를 통해 보여준다. 

崔泳喆(1956-)，韩国诗人。1986年作品入选《韩国日报》新春文艺后，开始创作活动。诗人十分关注日常中的事物，通过诗歌展现了它们的生命力。
