2015년 K-픽션시리즈(제8권)로 출간된 천명관의 단편소설이다. 작품은 미래사회를 배경으로 10%의 '수퍼리치'와 90%의 가난한 사람들이 한 공간에서 살아가는 이야기다. 작가는 주인공이 아픈 자식의 병을 고치지 못해 '수퍼리치'에게 입양을 보내는 이야기를 통해 가난한 자의 현재와 미래를 살피고있다.

This short story by Cheon Myeong-kwan was published in 2015 as the eighth volume of the K-Fiction Series. Set in the near future, it depicts a society in which one-tenth of the population – the super-rich – live in extreme wealth, alongside the impoverished ninety percent. The author examines the lives of the poor by following a father who sends his ailing child away to be adopted by the super-rich because he cannot afford his child’s medical treatment.
