Plot

Kim Yunhui goes to take the civil exam for her ailing brother, and there she meets Lee Seonjun, who thinks she is a man. They are assigned to work at Sungkyunkwan together, and disguised as a man, Yunhui falls in love with Seonjun.

2007년에 출간된 정은궐의 장편소설이다. 조선시대를 배경으로 쓴 로맨스 소설이다. 병약한 남동생 대신 남장(男裝)을 하고 과거(科擧)를 본 김윤희가 시험장에서 사랑하는 사람을 만나게 되면서 일어나는 이야기를 그리고 있다. 작가는 여성인 주인공이 남장하여 시험을 치르고 성균관에 입소한 후에 벌어지는 일들을 유쾌하게 담아내고 있다.

Published in 2007, this romance novel by Jung Eun-gwol is set during the Joseon period. The main character, disguised as man, takes the civil exam for her ailing brother and ends up falling in love with a young scholar. The story is told with humor and realistic depictions of the royal court.
