This epic poem by Jo Gicheon was published in North Korea in 1947, and it was recognized as a model of revolutionary and resistant literature, as well as the model of the ideology and aesthetics in North Korea. The poem played an important role in the rebuilding of North Korea, and it was published in South Korea in 2012.

1947년에 출간된 조기천의 장편서사시다. 시집은 항일혁명문학의 전형으로 인정받으며, 북한의 사상적, 미학적 표본으로 간주되어 왔다. 특히 해방 이후 북한사회를 건설하는 중요한 동력으로 평가받아왔다. 2012년 남한에서 출간되기도 했다.
