Plot

Four scholars—Seonjun, Jaesin, Yongha, and Yunhui—who are all trusted by the king are appointed to work at the royal library. Yunhui is Yunsik’s sister, and when this becomes discovered, their family as well as the State Councilor of the Left will be in trouble. Yunhui and Yunsik try to keep their secret from everyone.

2009년에 출간된 정은궐의 장편소설이다. 조선시대를 배경으로 쓴 로맨스 소설이며, <성균관 유생들의 나날>(2009)의 후속작품이다. 작품은 4인방을 중심으로 전작(前作)에서 보여주지 못한 정조의 진짜 모습과 규장각의 모든 것을 보여주고 있다.

This novel by Jung Eun-gwol was published in 2009 after the publication of her previous novel, The Lives of Sungkyunkwan Confucian Scholars, in 2007. The story is centered on the four main characters, and it goes into more detail on King Jeongjo and life at the royal library during the Joseon dynasty.
